The Qur’an makes clear that people were grown from al Ardh , exactly as plants are. This is from where the concept of the “Cabbage Patch Kids” come from.
وَٱللَّـهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ نَبَاتًا
71:17 And Allah caused you to grow from The Earth as Plants. 🌹🌸🌷
وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَـٰلِحًا قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥ هُوَ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱسْتَعْمَرَكُمْ فِيهَا فَٱسْتَغْفِرُوهُ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ إِنَّ رَبِّى قَرِيبٌ مُّجِيبٌ
11:61 And to Thamūd, their brother Ṣāliḥ. He said: “O people: serve Allah; you have no ilah but He. He produced you from The Earth and settled you therein, so ask forgiveness of Him; then turn to Him; my Lord is near and responsive.”
ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَـٰٓئِرَ ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ إِذْ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِذْ أَنتُمْ أَجِنَّةٌ فِى بُطُونِ أُمَّهَـٰتِكُمْ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ
53:32 Those who avoid the enormities of sin and sexual immoralities save slight mistakes — thy Lord is vast in forgiveness. He best knew you when He produced you from The Earth, and when you were foetuses in the wombs of your mothers; then hold not yourselves to be pure; He best knows those of prudent fear.
Perhaps Adam, and the former ppl – like the people of Aad & Thamud, & the Progenitors of mankind (Adam, Eesa & Ahmed- all “Adam’s” of their Yawm, – neither had both biological parents, were all assisted w the Ruh, made Khalifa upon the earth, etc) were grown from the Ardh. And humanity from each others loins thereafter. – which leads us up to 7:172- which is seemingly yet to happen, like many things discussed in the Qur’an.
وَإِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِنۢ بَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ مِن ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَأَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ شَهِدْنَآ أَن تَقُولُوا۟ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ إِنَّا كُنَّا عَنْ هَـٰذَا غَـٰفِلِينَ
7:172 And when thy Lord brought forth from the children of Adam, from their backs,1 their progeny, and made them bear witness as to themselves: “Am I not your Lord?” — they said: “Verily,2 we bear witness.” — “Lest you say on the Day of Resurrection: ‘Of this were we unaware,’
This would also answer the age old question, what came first , the chicken or the egg? There’s a reason it’s called the EggPlant.
This also makes clear the impossibility of incest being the means through which the earliest humans propagated.
In that time, people were conceived / created differently. They were not birthed the way we see today. They were but carried حمل and bought into this world by either being grown from al Ardh like plants , or through ones loins/back.
وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا
71:14 When he has made you Mountains. – أَطْوَارًا plural of the word طور. Mountains. Not stages.
